Protect the underprivileged from Coronavirus
Child poverty ruins childhoods. Growing up in poverty means being cold, going hungry, and not being able to join in activities with friends such as school trips. There were 3.7 million children living in poverty in the UK in 2013-14, 1.7 million in extreme poverty. That’s 28% of children, or 9 in a classroom of 30.
63% of children living in poverty are in a family where someone works. Infant mortality is 10% higher for infants in the lower social group than the average.

Principally, 4TC is a children’s charity that seeks to promote sustainable, economic and social development within the UK. We also aspire to help children internationally where aid and relief is most needed.
